Chess Piece remake

Our task this time was within 1 hour re-create a chosen chess piece. We had to concept, model and texture the piece.
I chose to pick the rook as I have yet to create a medieval type model before and wanted to test out my ability.
This is my end product.

Lykoris is the goddess of the Forest, protector of all the life that lives within her land. She lives amongst the animals and would protect them with her life.
Lykoris was born in a difficult time, when enemies were destroying her families tribes and land. The people prayed to the spirits for help and protection, and the spirits finally answered.

The Spirits called for an offering, a new born child, who would bind their spirit with that of the Forest spirit and be the protector of the lands. The Forest Spirit takes form of a giant White Wolf, which is a sacred and protected animal of the Tribes people. It is one of the greatest laws of the
tribes people to never harm a wolf.
She was raised within the forest by the White Wolf and the people of her tribe, until she was of age where she was plunged into the depth and heart of the Forest.

Her powers draw from the spirit within her heart and body, which she enforces this power through her handcraffted Bow and arrows. She wears the symbols of her tribe over he skin as a reminder to everyone who she is.

Her Spirit is bound with that the White Wolf, if she would die then the Wolf Spirit would follow almost instantly. But if the Wolf would perish, its energy would be transferred to Lykoris.

Group Assessment: Motel

So this was our first Group Assessment, where we had to create a realistic game environment.
We chose to do a run down, seedy looking Motel stuck out in the middle of the Desert on an abandoned highway.
My task was to complete all the assets outside of the Motel, including the landscape itself.

Today was our first real class of Year 2 at AIE. We had to create a coin with a logo on its, so with my inspiration of my name Phoenix Animator, I decided to create something that could represent me.

Jeepers Creepers Bumper Cars!

So for my next project I have chosen to create a creepy horror themed Theme Park. During my nice long relaxing holiday I was able to catch up with a friend on A LOT of horror movies that I had missed over the years, the old and the new were all watched; Which then inspired my next project.

To start with we watch Jeepers Creepers, and to be honest was a great movie up until the part where the demon spread wings...

But still a fantastic beginning and loved the little Truck and number plate BEATNGU very clever :D
